Libya is demanding that the European Union issue a formal apology to Moammar Gaddafi and the Libyan people.
This stems from Schengen Zone countries denying entry to almost 200 Libyan officials after Switzerland put them on a blacklist.
The Libyan Ambassador to Spain, which currently holds the EU presidency, said “Our historic leader was offended,” referring to Gaddafi. He’s demanded that the EU issue a “clear apology” in a Madrid newspaper on Sunday.
